PlayStation Allstars Release Dated; Two More Characters Revealed

Headlining a presentation at the annual EVO fighting game tournament in Las Vegas over the weekend, Sony has announced the release date for their answer to Smash Bros. -- PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale -- as October 25th 2012 for Australia/New Zealand (23rd in North America, 24th in Europe and 26th in the UK).

Also revealed were two more characters for the game's roster: Sony mascot Toro the karate cat (who also recently featured in Street Fighter X Tekken) and Heihachi Mishima from the more traditional Tekken line-up.

These two join the already announced Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal, Fat Princess, Sly Cooper, Radec from Killzone 2, Kratos from God of War, PaRappa the Rapper, Nathan Drake from Uncharted, and the Big Daddy from BioShock.
