In news that potentially represents a beacon of hope for fans of Marvel characters who have been disappointed by
recent licensed games from the comic-book publisher, Game Informer
is reporting that the next announcement from High Moon Studios will draw on the much-loved comic book Universe.
High Moon are best known as the studio behind the well-received Transformers game, War for Cybertron and its hotly anticipated, upcoming, Dinobot-packing sequel, Fall of Cybertron, and are expected to announce the game during an Activision-hosted panel at Comic Con on July 14th 2012 titled "Marvel Video Games".
No other details have been revealed, so it's anyone's guess as to which Marvel property they might be focusing on.
The panel will also reportedly feature presentations on the Marvel Heroes MMO from Gazillion Entertainment and Ubisoft's Avengers: Battle for Earth.

What could they do? So many great storylines to choose from: Genosha, Days of Future Past, the Phalanx Covenant, Dark Phoenix Saga, Age of Apocalypse...
Of course they could just go with an entirely new storyline, but if they were to do so, I'd love to see Mark Waid, Fabien Nicieza, Chris Claremont or someone else of that calibre on board.

If it has a cameo by Cable, i will be a happy camper.
