Following yesterday's Game Informer teaser, Epic Games and Microsoft have officially revealed Gears of War: Judgement at the Xbox E3 2012 Media Briefing.

Being co-developed by Epic Games and their Polish subsidiary People Can Fly (Bulletstorm, Painkiller), Judgement follows tells a new tale, set years before the events of the original Gears of War trilogy.
“Gears of War: Judgment” takes you back before events of the original “Gears of War” trilogy to the immediate aftermath of Emergence Day – the defining event of the “Gears of War” universe. Follow Kilo Squad, led by Damon Baird and Augustus “The Cole Train” Cole, as they fight to save the city of Halvo Bay from an unstoppable enemy in the most intense ‘Gears’ game yet.
Watch the debut trailer below (or here for the HD video page).

Gears of War: Judgement is due in the "1st half of 2013", exclusively for Xbox 360.
