The biggest title on Microsoft's immediate horizon is once again the next addition to their flagship Halo franchise, and as expected, it was the centrepiece of their E3 Xbox Media Briefing.

Following the event, they have now released the live action E3 trailer for the game as well as the five-minute gameplay demonstration, which you can watch both of right now embedded below.
Set in the aftermath of Halo 3, Master Chief returns to confront his own destiny and face an ancient evil that threatens the fate of the entire universe. Halo 4 marks the start of a new trilogy that begins with its release in 2012.
Halo 4 is due on November 6th 2012, exclusively to Xbox 360.
