In the aftermath of the sad demise of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developer GSC Game World, PC Gamer is reporting that another new Ukrainian developer has been spawned by members of the old team.

Several ex-GSC employees are now listing a new company called UnionStudio on their LinkedIn profiles, which is summarised as a "new company, created together with the best professionals that worked for GSC GAME WORLD and other AAA class studios." and notes that its first project will be a "cross-platform action shooter which will be available for PC, Mac, PlayStation, XBOX."

According to another report on StopGame the unannounced title will have a futuristic setting and is inspired by Fallout and Rage -- obviously not a huge departure from the team's prior post-apocalyptic experiences.

Back in April, another studio formed from GSC's ashes, Vostok Games, also announced a post apocalyptic shooter titled Survarium.
