Celebrating the wide acclaim of their 2011 action title, Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios have announced a Game of the Year Edition for Batman Arkham City that will come packed with the five previously released downloadable content expansions as well as a newly announced story expansion centered around femme-fatale Harley Quinn -- promising an additional "two hours of fresh gameplay".
Fans who already own an original boxed edition of Batman: Arkham City can experience the new gameplay by downloading the Harley Quinn’s Revenge Pack, which will be available in all international markets beginning May 30 in the PlayStation®Network and in the Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for Xbox 360.

The Harley Quinn’s Revenge mission sends players back into Arkham City to face their final challenge as they interchange between playing as both Batman and Robin. Gamers must utilise each of the characters' unique combat and investigative skills to uncover Harley's vengeful plan and shut the gates on the urban mega-prison forever. In addition to experiencing a new storyline, fans can explore new environments and face-off against Harley’s all new gang of thugs.
Batman Arkham City Game of the Year Edition is due on September 7th 2012 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Watch the GOTY Edition trailer embedded below or click here for the HD video page.

Heh, I figure that media producers only include the Wilhelm Scream in their stuff at this point as some sort of offensive joke...
(edit: Or maybe it's not that scream, but it was definitely used in Seven Kingdoms, which I played way too much)

But yeah, the game rocked, highly recommended.

Wtf, there was five downloadable expansions for it? I remember the Catwoman one, and the Nightwing and Robin ones (which didn't really do anything besides add challenge maps), but what were the others?

Batman was good, but there were a few other swell things recently such as Skyrim and Deus Ex.

Wasnt a fan of Deus Ex or Skyrim. While big ass open worlds like fallout or skyrim seem awesome, once i start exploring i find it pretty boring even though there is plenty of shit to do. Batman was more constant action which i preferred. And Deus Ex i couldnt get past the first mission - stupid autosaves, slow gameplay, shit camera. I really was hoping to like it but it made me rage. I should try it again. And fuck off anybody thinking BF3 for GOTY. Broken shit.

Thats just me though.

Fair enough, I had the same experience with Oblivion, but somehow got really into exploring absolutely everywhere in Skyrim.

So that's all it takes? It's a bit like all those trashy B-Grade movies you see with laurel leaf awards plastered all over the front of the cover from some unknown film festival.

Lol, so true. Worse is my dad once hired a DVD a while back that had a sticker from triple M saying 'this movie rocks' and it was shit. Fuckers.
