Rumours of the development of a PlayStation 3 game that would pit the iconic characters of Sony's many exclusive franchises against one another in the style of Nintendo's Smash Bros games have been swirling for some time. Today, the console manufacturer has inadvertently dropped yet another hint with the registration of the domain name playstationallstarsbattleroyale.com (via: PlayStation Lifstyle).

The prospect of going head to head with Kratos and Nathan Drake, or Sackboy and Doll Face is quite tantalising in itself, but we'd also hope it would try to bring something new to the table and not just be a Smash Bros knock-off. I guess we'll just have to wait until an online retailer can accidentally tell us more.
