The indie developed strategy title Orcs Must Die! has been met with respectable acclaim since it's October 2011 launch on XBLA and Steam and it seems that has translated into financial success as developer Robot Entertainment has just announced a sequel, the appropriately-named Orcs Must Die! 2.
Orcs Must Die! 2 thrusts players and their friends back into battle against a terrifying mob of orcs and other monsters. With a redesigned spellbook, players will have a broader range of options to build a deadly arsenal of defenses. Investing hard-earned skulls in an enormous new upgrade system will allow players to cater to their favorite methods of burning, grinding, tossing, or dismembering orcs.
The feature list for number 2 boasts new enemies, more defences and a new upgrade system as well as a new full-length campaign, but this time they're including coopertive multiplayer support.
Orcs Must Die! 2 is due in Winter 2012 (US Summer) on Xbox 360 and PC. Additionally, for the PC version, Robot Entertainment promise some "exclusive content" in the sequel for owners of the original.
