The team at indie studio Adhesive Games have released another trailer of their very impressive looking mech combat game Hawken. If stomping around in a hulking suit of steel, blowing away others in the same is your idea of fun, hit up the embedded video below (or click through for the HD video page) for two and a half more minutes of good times.

Hawken is initially in the works for the PC as a download-only, free-to-play title and it's current release date is a couple of weeks short of Christmas on 12/12/12. You can find more details and potentially get in on beta testing at playhawken.com.

Sweet. I met with some of the Hawken team at GDC a couple weeks back to make sure Australia is on their radar in terms of multiplayer stuff. Game them the usual spiel that I use on every game developer I meet about how important it is to have local servers and all that jazz and hopefully will be swapping more info with them over the coming months as well.
