Activision and Marvel has just released some new screenshots for their upcoming Spiderman title, The Amazing Spiderman, which follows in the footsteps of the hit blockbuster soon to shine on our screens of the same name.

The new screenshots show off a well known villain in the Spiderman universe, who likes to go by the name of Rhino. Can you guess why?.
At first glance, Rhino seems like nothing more than an angry, mindless cross of rhinoceros and human DNA, bent on mowing over anything or anyone stupid enough to stand in his way. His mere appearance is known to scare many into believing that Rhino and all cross-species are abominations that must be destroyed. Yet, the few who have looked into his eyes (and survived) have reported their surprise in sensing a degree of humanity there. Almost a sadness.
If you're interested in reading more about Rhino and just how he became such a ferocious beast, head over to the Marvel website where they have a massive amount of info.

Also released today is a trailer showcasing Rhino in all his glorious form which you can check out over here, and make sure you watch it in HD! So check out the screenshots below as well as the Rhino Reveal trailer, and if you feel like you are in need of a friendly neighbourhood spider just check out our game page for all the latest news, screenshots and trailers.

Isn't the Rhino from the comics just a dude who's fused into a Rhino suit? Not some genetically engineered human/rhino cross. Why must they f*** with these things, doesn't fill me with hope of this being any good.

He is genetically infused. A serum was made and a low life from the Mafia was chose, Aleksei Sytsevich, to be infused with the serum. The serum was made of a DNA serum similar to the Lizard, and a rhinoceros serum, thus making his skin very strong.
