MechAssault Developer Teases a Return to its Roots in New Trailer

Following a recently revamped official website, F.E.A.R. 3 developer Day 1 Studios have kicked off speculation of their next game with a 30 second teaser trailer titled "Storm Warning" that promises a return to their roots.

As a giant robotic foot stomps the ground, the obvious implication is that a sequel to the fondly-remembered MechAssault games is in the works. It has actually been eight long years since MechAssault 2 touched-down on the original Xbox, so it's certainly high time for more mech antics. Watch the teaser below and we'll be sure to let you know as soon as we find out more.

Rdizz that looks fucking sweet, that is exactly the kinda mech game I want to play

I tried to watch the first video too but it wanted me to watch a 30 second ad so I refreshed the page and posted this instead

there was more action in the ad before the clip

"if youre happy and you know it wag your tail", ah, such a lovely little song, I might go and get myself some flea tablets (not because i have fleas, but because the ad was better, pure and simple"
