As the launch for the hotly anticipated Mass Effect 3 draws ever near, a new cinematic trailer promoting the game has surfaced, apparently debuting the clip during today's episode of The Walking Dead in North America.

AMC's zombie series won't air in Australia until the new FX channel launches on Foxtel next week, but fortunately we don't have to wait to watch said Mass Effect 3 trailer as developer BioWare have published it online. Watch it embedded below or click through for the HD video page.

Mass Effect 3 is due on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Australia on March 8th 2012.

That has to be the best trailer I've seen in a while. Needed some more action towards the end but still awesome.

I wasn't aware of all the voice actors in MA3, kind of epic.

Martin Sheen reprises his role as Illusive Man along with other fan favorites like Seth Green, Keith David, and Jennifer Hale. Jessica Chobot makes her in-game debut as Diana Allers, and Freddie Prinze Jr. is Shepard's latest recruit, James Vega
