The highly anticipated single-player RPG from the minds of 38 Studios and the writings of R. A. Salvatore is now available for Australians to play.
Dead is dead. Or so it seems.

Your body was left to rot in a pile of corpses, another failed experiment. But you are alive. Unbound by the chains of Fate, you are free to choose your Destiny. And with the Faelands enveloped in the Crystal War, your power will not go unnoticed—by friend or foe.

Harness awakening magic in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning™ and discover how its fluid action combat sets a new standard for single-player RPGs.
You can check out the new trailer embedded below, titled "The Change", challenging the player to become the hero of Amalur.

Let us know in the comments on your adventures in the world of Amalur so far, and if you are still undecided you can check out ko-zee-ii's review where he gave it a solid 8.7/10.

So far, the best thing about this game is R.A Salvatore. Not really liking much else, maybe if I was about 15 years younger?

I just played the first part of the demo on playstation 3 and after playing Skyrim for the last month I can honestly say Reckoning hits all the marks that Skyrim is missing. Apart from graphics which look WoW ish, everything else is better.
