Kicking off the year with more video interviews and exclusive access, today we have our promised Darksiders II developer interview with the game's lead designer, Haydn Dalton.

Apart from revealing the man behind the death-mask (me!), Haydn reveals a lot about what's gone into the game from a combat balance perspective, especially with the new RPG elements, and also talks about boss battles being more like puzzles than actual straight-forward combat. He also talks about the team wearing their hearts on their sleeves, but that their biggest inspiration for Darksiders II was actually the original Darksiders.
