NeverDead, the action packed, limb-detaching, head flailing title from brain child Shinta Nojiri, who previously directed the creation of Metal Gear Acid series, gets some new screenshots before it's release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

NeverDead stars an immortal hero named Bryce Boltzmann who, alongside his partner Arcadia, works for an agency tasked with defeating demonic incursions. Having the ability to freely detach your limbs definitely makes for an interesting gameplay element, one that can change the outcome of winning or losing.

NeverDead is being released in stores on January 31st on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Check out some of the new screenshots below, or head over to our game page for more.

The character design looks freakin' radical, some really creepy looking monsters. Plus it looks hilarious!

Haha, I like the char in the vid who keeps his throwing knives embedded in his upper arms. Convenient.

Can't wait for it to be RC'd in Aus:
