DC Universe, the now Free-To-Play MMO that lets you choose to be the hero or the villian, has turned one year old. To celebrate the special occasion, Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) is giving every player a cape with the number "1" on the back.
The cape will be granted to players through their mission journal on January 11. The character must exist on the 11th to be eligible to receive the mission. However, players do not need to log in on the 11th; as long as the character exists on the 11th, players will receive the mission the next time they log in. This is all in American time, so us Australians' still have a few hours left to get the cape! Here are some pretty impressive statistics since DC Universe Online launched:

It's obviously part of the whole console thing, but I really like how it reduces the skillbar clutter you get in other MMOs - to get the same number of attacks in other games the skillbar would be about double in since.
I haven't actually played it since I hit max level though, is there much to do once you get there? Can't say i'm interested in PVP at all.
