I've been quietly championing this game since it was first announced, mostly because of the art-direction and robot design, but everything I've seen of it so far tells me there's a lot more in store here.
Pegged as SEGA's attempt at capturing the mature Western market, Binary Domain could best be described as a Gears of War-styled third-person cover shooter, with robots. But that would be seemingly selling it a bit short, as today's trailer reveals, there's definitely more than meets the eye here (see what I did there).
Binary Domain is due to launch for PS3 and Xbox 360 February 24.
