Crystal Dynamics are still currently hard at work on the impressively gritty new Tomb Raider reboot, but the studio best known for their more recent efforts of breathing new life into the iconic Lara Croft are branching out with a new property of their own and the latest news is that we'll be hearing all about it this year.
In a
blog post on publisher Square Enix's site, studio manager Megan Marie shared the developer's new years ambitions (via:

“The New Year ushers in more than just fresh calendars and renewed resolutions. 2012 will prove to be a very exciting year for Crystal Dynamics, more so than any in recent memory,” she said.
“Not only will our team be eating, sleeping, and breathing Tomb Raider, but we’ll also be hard at work preparing to reveal exciting new intellectual property to the world.”
Tomb Raider is currently slated for a late 2012 launch on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
