If you've been holding off on picking up Marvel Vs Capcom 3 because you're too invested in Super Street Fighter IV, or you just new that Capcom would pull the re-release "Ultimate" card at some point, Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is ready for your hard-earned cash.

If you did invest, however, there's a good chance you might not want to jump on the Ultimate wagon. This will depend though, on your level of commitment to the series on the whole, because UMvC3 fixes a lot of exploits and balance issues with the original, and it's kind of hard to turn down a game that lets you kick the ass of a Sentinel with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

8.7, pretty decent score.

But yes still too invested in SSFIV, plus i found myself getting too overwhelmed with all the bullshit happening on screen and insanely long combos (let alone having to try and remember them). Just thinking about this game gives me a headache. Giving this one a miss but i'll most likely be picking up SF x Tekken.

Yeah, I kinda regret buying MvC3 in the first place, not that it was a bad game, but it wasn't awesome and I never really got into it. Once Mortal Kombat came out I realised no other fighting games couldn't measure up anyway, and it wasn't worth playing anything else.

I was hoping you'd explore and comment on the multiplayer aspects considering those parts were criticised heavily in the vanilla version. Is the spectactor mode all it's cracked out to be? lag decent with lots of players to verse? The game is all about multiplayer and those details coupled with the online features don't seem to be explored much in this review.
