New Game Announcement Coming From BioWare, Plus New Alan Wake, MGS and More

The annual VGAs are just around the corner and as has become tradition, they'll be teasing the year ahead with new game announcements and teaser videos.

News of what some of this will be is already well and truly doing the rounds, such as a new Alan Wake downloadable title from Remedy for Xbox Live Arcade (note, this is not the expected Alan Wake 2 announcement) as well as confirmation that BioWare will be revealing an all-new title which is being developed by an equally new development studio. Hideo Kojima will also be showing off Metal Gear Solid: Rising in some capacity. Obviously there will be a lot more than that, so we'll just have to wait for the onslaught of media and info to follow next week.

In the meantime, however, let the BioWare game announcement speculation begin...

In case you were thinking that those Spike Awards might have started to get some credibility, here's their GOTY 2011 nominations:

- Batman: Arkham City
- Portal 2
-The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
-The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
-Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Loving that BF3 is absent and it includes a game that's not even released yet. Having GOTY in December is pretty daft.

GOTY is always over rated anyway. It's given out to so many titles, and even games that don't win it just have a GOTY edition or "full" edition.

GOTY will be Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. No contest. reviewers were ready to lick the balls of the game dev more throughly than even bungie when halo 3 came out.
