2K Games have released a new trailer for The Darkness 2, the supernatural first person shooter sequel in the works at Canadian studio Digital Extremes.

Today's video is titled "What is the Darkness?" and aptly describes the titular demonic parasite in a brief overview that brings us up to speed with some of the happenings of the first game.

The Darkness 2 is due for a February 10th 2012 launch on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
