The first video trailer from Max Payne 3 is now out, setting the scene with what looks like primarily in-game cut-scene footage:
Still haunted by the memories of his traumatic past, Max begins a new life working private security protecting a wealthy industrialist and his family in São Paulo, Brazil. When gangs target the family under his protection, Max is forced to fight to save his clients and clear his name, in a bid to, once and for all, rid himself of the demons that have tortured him for far too long.

He reminds me of Bruce Willis at the start of Die Hard 3 when hes all f***ed up in his white singlet with his shaved head. Looks pretty cool :)

not sure what to think. it looks vastly different from the first two games.

ravnos if that is the case simply treat it as a completely different game that's not in/part of the series and then enjoy the game.

Disturbing lack of bullet time action in that trailer, otherwise pretty cool.

Can only hope it has as fun gameplay as the first two that made the series what it is

Wasn't expecting to be interested in this one due to the different setting/appearance, but the music and reminder of the first two's gameplay got me excited. ;)

The music is the same but nothing in the trailer suggested that it still fits - especially when the game looks so much like 'man on fire' the game.

Hot and sunny =/= cold or rainy which is what the first two games and therefor the music was all about. I hope its good becuase I loved the first two.
