At this year's QuakeCon, AusGamers was invited behind closed doors to check out Dishonored from Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks, and walked away honoured to have been privy to such a showing.

Dishonored is a game you should be vesting your interest in for its fostered breaking of gameplay and development traditions, alongside its ultra cool setting and equally compelling narrative. The game looks ultra-fresh, and very, very polished, even at this early stage in development, and super chaotic in what it offers in the way of emergent gameplay stemming from player-choice, as opposed to scripted, or random sequences.

Click here for the full preview. And once you read the preview, be sure to check out our lengthy chat with both Harvey Smith and Raphael Colantonio about Dishonored and various areas of game-design in general, right here.
