![]() - Weapons now have separate penalties for jumping and landing, allowing better weapon control after landing (and greatly reduced penalties for falling off small ledges). This also allows for in-air shots with proper timing.A lot of these looks like the sort of low-level balance changes that have the potential to have a significant effect on gameplay, especially if they heighten the skill curve and make the game more competitive. Given that CSS is still the second most popular multiplayer game on Steam there's obviously still a bunch of people playing it regularly, which is pretty incredible. If anyone is still playing it competitively and has any thoughts on these changes, please let us know what you think!

That's hilarious, did the arab team go terrorist? did you shout Ally Snackbar?
As for my CS days, we used to get the entire class during IT to play CS, 30 odd ppl playing while the teacher walked around and watched, he still expected that we completed our work of course.

This was popular when I was at high school and I think CSS in early days of uni... used to go play with a few people between lectures.

What was even more hilarious is when the entire team used to run around looking like this guy:
Some of us actually looked like that, not just in the game either lawl.

Also this seems ridiculous - - Glock and FAMAS each now use same accuracy for all burst shot bullets.

And as a casual player, your AWP finger is always a little slower than everyone else's, so it's not particularly fun.

haven't played for a couple years

The entire history of CS updates dumbed the game down instead of increasing the skill curve.
Just look at 1.3 -> 1.6... and why? Cause a game that a noob can jump in and get a headshot is more appealing than jumping in a quake server and getting dominated.
