This is a big week of previews and hands-on reports here on AusGamers, and we decided to kick things off with one of the most anticipated games of this year (in beta form) and next year (in retail form), Diablo III (dates are speculation on our behalf, by the way).

Out at Blizzard's Irvine campus in California, we had a chance to get down and dirty with the game after a lengthy presentation outlining changes to the game's UI and skills system, but were only unfortunately given a set amount of time, so had to limit our class choices to two - the Barbarian and Wizard. The former was the one we spent the most time with though (because the latter, we just spammed the dungeon in four-player co-op), and so that's where our preview depth lies.

I got to level 6 (I think), but a lot of the experience was still locked out because of the length of the demo
