In a recent interview with Xbox World (thanks CVG), Mass Effect 3 art director, Derek Watts, expressed concern over ever revealing just what Tali looks like under her helmet. Obviously as one of the Normandy crew you can start a relationship with, there are likely plenty of fans who'd want to see what she looks like, but doing that look justice is harder than you might think.

"A lot of people want to have her face revealed and obviously people are going to be pissed off either way, like, "I thought she was going to look beautiful!" or "I thought she was going to be the most hideous thing ever!"," Watts expressed. "So we've had a lot of debate over Tali's face, but that's the one we kind of dread a lot. We're always "well, let's talk about something else for a while!" That's something we're going to have to decide."

Well it turns out since that interview they've garnered enough of a response to officially dip their toes in, Tweeting recently "Do you want to see Tali's face in Mass Effect 3?".

There's plenty of time between now and March, 2012 when the game is due to be released, so adding some Tali de-masking would be trivial at best, and I'd be curious to see what she looks like, but I chose Miranda as my space-faring beauty, so alien beauty or not, my hands are tied. Would you rather they keep her appearance a mystery, or unmask her?
