The last Brothers in Arms game was a serious affair; a veritable Saving Private Ryan of the World War II gaming genre. But if the trailer for the newly announced Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 is anything to go by, the latest entry in the sombre series is set to be a whole lot more Inglorious Basterds in its tone. Adam Novickas, director of marketing at Ubisoft (US) had the following to say:
“The Brothers in Arms franchise has been renowned for its gritty direction that has dropped players into the middle of World War II. With Brothers in Arms Furious 4, Gearbox brings the action to a whole new level filled with unexpected twists and over-the-top battles that are sure to please new players and fans alike.”

I wonder if they're keeping the gameplay the same? That was the only reason I liked Brother's in Arms without it it's just another WWII shooter.

I'm with you on this one, Pirroh... a bit worried about the direction this is taking.
