The once mighty Rare now spends their days designing Kinect games and playing around with the Xbox Live Avatars. But a recent screenshot of artwork from what looks to be a sequel to their Xbox 360 launch title, Kameo: Elements of Power, shows that the team were once talented game designers and that that game itself was likely in the design direction of growing up.

Sergey Rakhmanov was a Senior Artist at Rare and worked on such games as Perfect Dark Zero and the first Kameo, and has now posted up images for his portfolio online of what Kameo II would have looked like. Obviously this is by no means confirmation the game is coming, but it's interesting to see the art-direction change from what it was to what it could have been.
