Today was Nintendo 3DS day for yours truly, as my 3DS arrived from the fine folk at Nintendo, and so I took the machine for a much more in-depth spin than we've ever had before; exploring its surprisingly in-depth feature-set for a handheld gaming device, and out-of-the-box, no less.

There's a lot of cool stuff under the hood here, and most of what we have for you here in today's feature is a basic run-down of functionality and purpose, you'll need to spend a lot more time to work out just what you're going to get out of a lot of it, or how Nintendo plan on implementing it more down the track, but the truth is, so far, so good. Now we just need more games!
