EA have at long-last released some actual gameplay footage from the upcoming Alice: Madness Returns, the long-awaited revisit to American McGee's twisted version of Wonderland, now nearing completion at his Shanghai-based studio Spicey Horse Games.

We've seen several CG teaser trailers already that have well and truly set the tone, now check out what the actual game will look like as shown in this GDC 2011 trailer. You can watch the embeded clip below or click here for the HD option.

Alice: Madness Returns is in the works for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and has recently been dated for a June 16 2011 release in North America. An Australia launch date has yet to be confirmed, but given EA's track-record so far this year, we'd wager it won't be too far from the U.S. mark.
