We were out in the cold cobble-stoned streets of the UK last week, and had a lucky chance to check out The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings at an exclusive event where we also caught up with the game's Senior Producer, Tomasz Gop.

We have a full hands-on report coming for you tomorrow, but today we've posted up a video interview with Tom speaking about the game's development, it's revamped and deep combat system, as well as the potential for console iterations down the track. As usual, being the nice guys we are here, you can watch the video or read a full transcript. We also have a heady batch of new screens you can check out by clicking the thumbnails below.

I actually didn't enjoy the first Witcher at all. The combat was fiddly and unsatisfying, the graphics were average at best and it took too long to really get going... This, however, this looks like an amazingly well polished and planned sequel. Well Done CDProjek, you've won me over.
