Codemasters have served up another in-game trailer for Operation Flashpoint: Red River, showing off more of their forthcoming contemporary-themed, realism-focused shooter.

The latest clip is supposedly the first in a series of biographical-style videos and introduces a USMC Staff Sergeant character named Knox.
The trailer demonstrates some of the wide range of combat scenarios which players will encounter in the game’s diverse new battlefield of Tajikistan, with Knox’s narration detailing his personal take on the conflict. From defending bases to sweeping through mountains, villages and towns to flush out entrenched enemies, Knox and his Marine Fireteams are shown engaging insurgents at range and close-quarters, supported by ground and air support. In an awesome display of power, A10 bombers are shown obliterating an insurgent stronghold with a strafing bombing run before the marines sweep in.
Watch it here on AusGamers (click that little HD button for the real goods).

Operation Flashpoint: Red River is due on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Q2 2011. Serveral screenshots and art can be found on our game page

I wonder if they bother making MP work out of the box this time... not that I will waste my money a second time.

Agree Trauma. Armed Assault and Bohemia Interactive is where its at. It's not perfect but they're moving on leaps and bounds.

Nah, there is no way I'm spending money on this again. Sorry Codemasters, you lost me on the last one.
