Free-to-play veterans ijji have reminded us that an open beta test for their latest title Genesis A.D. has kicked off today. Self-described as "Intense Twitch Action" , Genesis A.D is a fast-paced shooter built on Unreal Engine 3 tech that includes abilities such as "wall jumping, dodging and cloaking".

It's unclear how well it will play with Australian latency, but free is free and they're currently running a swag of promotions with promises of fortnightly content updates.

Download the open beta client locally from AusGamers and head over to the official site for beta rego details.
