Offering the first new scraps of information since the game's announcement, Valve have now launched an official website for their recently announced DOTA2

The inaugural post features a Q&A from Icefrog responding to a bunch of good questions from the community that include an explanation of bots and reconnect support and inter-region compatibility.

A: Yes, a lot of people have friends in different regions and we want to allow them to easily interact. One of the things that makes DotA special is how big the community is, so we will do our best to make it easy to connect and communicate with one another.
No new comments have been made as to Valve's controversial pursuit of the DOTA trademark however.
