Warner Interactive have released another new trailer for Mortal Kombat, the next addition to the fading franchise that aims to win some of the fighting-game fan-base back with a return to traditional 2D MK gameplay. Today's clip features the iconic MK character Scorpion as he beats up on seemingly helpless victims in some in-game action shouting his famous "get over here" line before impaling them.

Check it out here on AusGamers.

Mortal Kombat is slated for a 2011 release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Looks good as far as MK goes. Just never really liked the animation of their moves. It's like they're always in Karate mode with extra sauce splashing around.

I still play 1 & 2 on my Mega Drive, the music is classic and it's pretty easy to pick up for having mates over.

Just remember. Back back forward. Back back forward.

Yeah that's really uncomfortable to watch, especially on the really fast animations, they need more frames! I hope it's just the video and not the way the game plays :\
