5th cell, the Washington studio behind the acclaimed Scribblenauts games on DS has made a surprising new announcment for their next title, a third person shooter called Hybrid, currently in development for the Xbox Live Arcade.
5TH Cell is proud to announce Hybrid, a revolutionary new video game available in 2011 exclusively for Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA). Hybrid is a pioneering third person shooter set in a devastated post apocalyptic world, giving players a completely new gameplay experience never seen before in the genre.

Hybrid offers a ground-breaking evolution to the third person shooter genre, and 5TH Cell is excited to bring our innovative gameplay ideas to a new platform and a new demographic of gamers. 5TH Cell continually strives to advance innovation in video games and just like our previous titles we believe that Hybrid does exactly that.
With a single piece of concept art and a teaser trailer that reveals very little, the above quote is basically everything we know about the game so far. Curious folk might be able to find some other clues at the official site.
