If you pre-order Dragon Age II at EB, JB Hi Fi or GAME, BioWare are going to reward you with a free upgrade to the Dragon Age II BioWare Signature Edition, which features "the full version of Dragon Age II, along with a download code for an additional playable character and new missions, the Dragon Age II digital soundtrack, an exclusive in-game digital armory featuring a variety of weapons and other digital items."

"Over the past 15 years, we've been privileged to have the support of a passionate community of fans, who continue to grow in number with every game we release," said Dr. Ray Muzyka, via press release. "The BioWare Signature Edition of Dragon Age II is a chance for us to reward loyal fans who pre-order the game by providing them with additional high-quality content for free."

The signature edition will only be available as a pre-order "on or before January 11, 2011" so be sure to get in an pre-order now.

So basically removing content and then adding it back in again and calling it a 'bonus'. Nice...

thats pretty cool. finally a company that actually gives a reason to prebuy it, instead of some stupid "get a free skin code"

Thankfully they have included JB-HIFI in the list, so you don't get AS price gouged by EB prices.

I bet if the Aussie doller exceeds US, our games will still be heaps more expensive!

free of charge

The 'Charge' is the Chump-Tax that you have to pay for buying it at one of those stores.
Except for maybe JB hi-fi, they're usually ok-ish.
