At the 2010 Tokyo Games Show, we were among the fortunate few media to check out the freshly revealed multiplayer component of THQ and Kaos Studios' Homefront.
Homefront has a lot to prove if it wants the attention of military shooter fans. So I'm very happy to report that we once again walked away from a THQ Homefront presentation thoroughly impressed. In fact, we walked away then came back the following day and squeezed ourselves into the Japanese media's preview session so we could have another crack.
If reading a hands-on account of a new upcoming game that just might have the goods to take on the big boys of Battlefield and Call of Duty sounds like an interesting proposition, click here for the complete low-down.

Also, for the impatient: yes, it will have dedicated servers (and Australian ones) but we're not sure of how they'll be delivered just yet.

If that's not enough for you, we also caught up with Kaos Studios' Game Designer Richard Carrillo for a multiplayer Q&A.

I hope it isn't generic and doesn't suck like CoD, MoH, BFBC and all the other exactly-the-same-crap games that feel so bland.
