LucasArts Unleash Guybrush Skin for The Force Unleashed 2

Long-time LucasArts fans, or fans of Monkey Island and Star Wars, can finally live out their twisted fantasies of combining both franchises, as LucasArts have revealed you'll be able to play as the hapless pirate in their forthcoming sequel, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.

We also have two very cool images showing off what he's going to look like rendered in 3D in a powerful game engine, which now has me wondering if maybe Guybrush could properly make the leap from 2D to 3D. Click on the images below for larger versions.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is due to arrive on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS this October 29.

I have had very little interest in this game...... until now.

However I do hope that you don't have to finish the game or something to unlock the Guybrush costume/model and can play as Guybrush from the start.

read his other posts qmass, I'm not disagreeing that it wasn't what it could have been - read my review, I'm saying Bah is trolling me because I don't think that Tales of Monkey Island was a good enough 3D romp for Guybrush, I would really like to see something a little more grand and bold. that's it

Your original post seemed to indicate you had forgotten about the Tales game completely, whereas your point was more along the lines of wanting to see a full budget AAA monkey island title - did anyone get that from your original post? (hell i still think you might be trying to cover for the fact you forgot that Tales existed).
