Marvel vs Capcom 3 Trailers Show Spider-Man and Wesker

Capcom keep the love coming today with two new gameplay videos of the new characters that they revealed during a panel at the 2010 Tokyo Games Show: Marvel's Spider-Man and Capcom's Wesker.

Spider-Man should need no introduction, but for folk not familiar with Wesker, he's the trenchcoat-clad Matrix wannabe from Capcom's Resident Evil franchise.

Also for those that missed it last week, Capcom also formally announced Tron Bonne of Megaman fame, accompanied by Marvel's X-23 who is basically a female counterpart to Wolverine from the X-Men franchise.

Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is currently due on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime in the first half of 2011.

I played this briefly at the Tokyo Games Show the other day. Too briefly. It was awesome. It will definitely feel familiar to fans of the first two. Can't wait for it.
