The Xbox 360 offering of BioWare's next round of DLC for Mass Effect 2, Lair of the Shadowbroker, is now up and fully available. PC users, however, will have to wait as the initial file offering has turned out to be corrupt and so it has been pulled for the time being.

BioWare are working on a fix, and if you grabbed the file, don't stress, it won't do any damage to your game or your system (at least as far as we know), it's just essentially 1.4 gig of zeros (so avoid grabbing it).

There's no ETA for a renewed PC DLC post, but as soon as we know, we'll let you know.

Buy now from Green Man Gaming for only GBP£14.99 (USD$19.99 on Steam)!

Been reading up on BioWare about the PC version. Some people are having n problems with the updated version but then others are downloading it 4 times and still not being able to do anything with it.

Sounds like a complete mess.

Downloaded it. Played it. Beat it. Was it worth 800 ms points? .. probably. The ability to reset and redistribute your NPCs skill points, the "investment opportunities" and a couple of other things make it worth while. But if it didn't have those then Id say it was only worth 500 points max.

Yahg! Yeah the Shadow Broker was kinda cool. The boss fight before that on "Azure" (ladyparts teehee etc) was a bit annoying though. And the fact your other NPC at the end (not Liara) did f' all pissed me off.

Spoiler:
When you have completed the add-on and checked Liara's new digs out. Anything you purchase on the consoles (minerals, add-ons, investment jobs etc) reset after a mission or one real life day if you have no more missions.
