Warner have released a new trailer promoting their upcoming Mortal Kombat revamp, the 3D rendered fighter going back to it's 2D gameplay roots.
The rocking trailer features several classic Mortal Kombat fighters hidden in the shadows preparing for their next vicious attack. Even in the darkness, players will recognize the blue blaze of Raiden’s electricity and the iconic spear attack of Scorpion. You’ll find these kombatants are just as brutal, if not more, under the veil of darkness.
Not sure on the choice of music though, Disturbed may be Grammy winners with 11 million album's sold, but have cheesy nu-metal soundtracks been cool since the late 90s? The track is apparently the single "ANother Way to Die" from the new album Asylum.

Watch it right here on AusGamers.
