Fresh from GamesCom comes some of the new hotness for Diablo 3:
Just revealed at Gamescom 2010, the Caravan feature in Diablo III is a loyal band of followers that will join you on your journey through Sanctuary. Included in the Caravan are three Artisans, which offer basic vendor features, as well as unique crafting options.
No release date announced yet though, so you'll be waiting a while for the clickyclick. There's an accompanying FAQ which includes a bunch of information about the Caravan, and there are some new screenshots.

Check the video below or download the high resolution version right here.

Not a fan of the UI they are using there. Hope they change it before release next year. I do like the idea of having a big impact on what type of gear your dude can sell you, depending on how much you upgrade his ability. I'm just waiting for them to announce a CE version of this and i'll be all over this.

isnt the UI usually one of the last things to be finalised? im pretty sure it will change a bit between now and when it is released in 5 years.

If you've seen some of the earlier videos the UI has been through a number of changes already. I would expect it to change again before release.
