The single player game is brilliant, and multiplayer, even though it's restricted is so much fun.
It's well worth the money.

One thing that I did notice was the fact that the north america regioned version for digital download is 60USD, but the southeast asia/ANZ version is 90AUD. Seems to be the way of regional pricing these days though.

My only complaint is the regionalised servers, it's fucking dongs. The fact that I can't chat with my buddies in WoW (and vice versa while playing WoW) really shits me off but they said they'll fix it within 2 months by allowing us to create an account on the US b.net servers.

Yeah i bought it digitally, and yeah blizzards downloader p2p shiz wiz was lame... so i thought to myself... why dont i torrent it from my own sources.. turns out an .iso of the original disc is an exact image of what blizzards p2p shiz wiz downloads... instead of taking the estimated 7hours to download 7 gig it took me 59minuts.

Sadly i bought an EU version and now i cant play with any friends, considering buying another copy anyway, so i can lan it up with my son.

This is the first new game released since the Activision merger, and to be honest IMO it really shows. The game itself is still awesome, but suits have infiltrated the ancillary stuff. Suits can ruin anything.

then speak to him on the ship and he gives a bit more info. i haven't got too far in single-player yet but that should give you a pretty good idea. i suspect it's a pretty important plot thing, it's got to do with those mobius chaps - so if someone does post it please use spoiler tags :)

hes locked in the suit by moibius until he completes his mission, which is to kill kerrigan, also has a killswitch inside which shuts him down if he disobeys any orders
think thats about right, i was quite sleep deprived when i was watching some of the cutscenes

Maybe in Soviet Europe~! But seriously I'm in the UK and been playing regularly with a friend in Germany and neither of us have had any problem like that.
Also, there is so no reason whatsoever to buy the digital download unless you literally cannot be bothered moving from your chair..
To buy a physical copy is cheaper (even the most expensive places are selling it for the same price as the digital download), much faster to install (ie. download), gives you a physical backup, and once you've associated the CD key with your battle.net account you always have a digital download of the game available as well.

We have come from being totally smashed 3v3 down to 3v2, down to 3v1, though we still had 2 armies left at this point.
Being able to micro-manage that efficiently from there on, whilst the person with the untouched base continued to macro, it works out like you're a 500APM stimmed Korean and we ended up beating a team of a few diamonds :)

loving it so far, played some campaign, then tried out protoss on the practice league..smashed 2 people in 1v1's and a close loss to 1 so far out of my 3 games. First 3 games of RTS online, woo!

I get lumped into a 2 vs 2 and my partner did one nuke in 45 minutes, ZERO other units.
The other 2 players didn't attack me ONCE, just turtled inside their base while I attempted to kill them 1 vs 2 with Mutas/zergling drops and shit.
Is this style of play fun to people? To never attack.
Fucking tards, I want my 45 minutes back.

There are replays of us there and such there of how hectic games get.
Athzhir and myself last night 2v2 diamond league play we mined out the entire map, there was units attacking units and/or buildings at least once every 30-60 seconds, obviously not at the very start but once production ramps up on both sides, this is about true.
That mining out of the entire map was all used up resources from both sides.

Yeah, its not vid card drivers, at least I don't think it is, the BSOD message is something like SERVICE_SHUTDOWN_EXCEPTION
Its not heat, been monitoring the heat of everything while I play.
And its not general stability cos I can crank out hours of prim95 and memcheck without error :(
Doesn't seem to be a widespread problem, but yeah, from reading around, others are getting it too. Sounds like it'll be a pain in the arse to even reproduce let alone fix though. But fuck me its getting annoying.

Turns out it had something to do with my settings, it's been said that if you deviate from the 'default' settings for Audio/Visual option it can cause that issue.
So I put mine back to the default 'High' setting and haven't had it lock up since.

I noticed having these issues trying to complete all 29 missions on hard. Somtimes they came up as completed, sometimes not. After completing 1 mission a whole bunch would suddenly come up as _not_ completed...just wondering if anyone else is seeing this sort of bizarre issue. Such a polished game MP wise, but SP has proven to be frustrating...
