I'm still on the fence about DJ Hero 2 - the first one showed me it had tons of potential, but so far it hasn't really been revealed to be living up to that. Yet week in and week out, the game grows a steady list of Triple A DJs, today with the revelation that the awesome DJ Qbert would be joining the game's playable character ranks.

"I'm excited about finally getting to bring the art of turntablism's defining skills, as well as two exclusive mixes, to DJ Hero 2," said DJ Qbert (via press release. "It's been a dream of mine as a gamer to battle myself on the turntables and now millions of fans around the world and their friends will get their chance to also."

The game's hip hop side is yet to be revealed in full-force, but if the DJs on board are of Qbert's calibre, we could be in for a real treat - I just hope we hear about DJ Krush, DJ Premier, DJ Signify, DJ Format and DJ Edan next.
