Gamasutra have posted jobs available at Sledgehammer Games, Activision's new Call of Duty-focused development studio, founded by Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, the guys who brought us Dead Space.

There are 10 postings in total, and the ad reads "work on the most successful FPS franchise in the history of the games industry". Eurogamer points out that these postings arrive at the right time, with Acti only weeks ago registering trademarks for CoD games that include Advanced Warfare, Secret Warfare and Space Warfare.

Is this the end of the CoD franchise? Or just the beginning...
