The previously exclusive Lost Planet 2 multiplayer demo, of which we gave out a stack of keys to (thanks Capcom), is now up for grabs to every Tom, Dick or Harry on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

Feel free to click here to queue the download for Xbox 360, while PlayStation 3 owners may have to wait around a day longer (as is often the case with downloads on the PS3). It is, of course, a free download as well (clocks in at just over 500mb), and you have the same access as the early birds, they're just likely a few weeks ahead in skills, so don't be surprised if you're smashed in your first grapple outing - you'll get there soon enough.

Lost Planet 2 is set for a May 11 release - a whole week earlier than expected, as was revealed to us at the recent Captivate event in Hawaii (stay tuned for more on this in the next few days).
