Telltale have sent out demos for the next in the Sam and Max series - The Devil's Playhouse:

The new season Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse is the biggest, strangest and most epic to date. As the saga begins, an otherworldy power for controlling matter and space calls to the strongest and strangest who might wield it - intergalactic warlords and eldritch gods, under-dwellers and scholars of the arcane.

Demos are available for Windows and Macintosh (great to see more multiplatform games). As always, more on our game page for this title!

If you're a Team Fortress 2 fan, you might also be interesting in the latest TF2 blog post, which announces a couple of new Sam and Max-themed items available in game - including the severed head of Max. Awesome.

Well because it says "eldritch" in there I think I should hurry up and get past season 1 part 4, just so the days spent slogging through the Bitterbynde trilogy at least let me enjoy the mythology.
