It was a no-brainer, no matter how many times Epic and Epic pretty boy, Cliffy B, tried to keep it open - Gears of War 3 has been officially announced to be arriving in April in 2011, and we've also heard delicious details surrounding the project.

Edge Online have the goods, which aren't 'official', but come from a trusted "US publishing source". Apparently we'll see mech suits, new enemies (ones with tentacles that can breach your cover), an overhaul of the cover system, more powerful weapons and, most tantalising of all, underwater missions. It's all sounding very good, and there's no doubt we'll see more at this year's E3, so stay tuned for more when we have it.

Looking forward to some co-op goodness. Hopefully they fix up the multiplayer since Gears 2 was awful.

GOW3 > GOW3.

Even though they're both different games, you can figure out which is which.

Its always a great way to enjoy a night with a mate and beer. I'd never buy the game, you can usually finish it in a night, just rent it.
