Wrong.
Pallys could heal and there were support classes (BO Barbs, Spirit Druids & other Pallys)

Well OK, maybe not a Commodore, but still it'll probably run quite well on a modest system with average settings.

the pally had that aura
but no one built a paladin or any of them around being a healer like you would in WOW
and to be fair it updgraded your rate of health recovery it couldn't save you if you were getting slammed by a group of monsters

you just needed to buy the books and have the right stats, obviously warriors stuggled with the fancy stuff as they wouldn't load enough points into the magic stat
pretty sure no one had a direct heal skill in diablo 2..
