Healer? This isn't WoW ;)

In diablo, all classes are pew pew classes. No support, no healing.

@ Thundercracker & Paveway

Wrong.

Pallys could heal and there were support classes (BO Barbs, Spirit Druids & other Pallys)

Well it is a Blizzard game, so it made with quality ingredients. It'll probably run on Commodore 64's on all low settings.

Well OK, maybe not a Commodore, but still it'll probably run quite well on a modest system with average settings.

oh yeah true that averagecowboy

the pally had that aura

but no one built a paladin or any of them around being a healer like you would in WOW

and to be fair it updgraded your rate of health recovery it couldn't save you if you were getting slammed by a group of monsters

IIRC there was a direct heal that you could cast on someone as well.

But no healbots. Hope it stays that way :)

there was back in diablo 1 everyone could cast everything (more or less)

you just needed to buy the books and have the right stats, obviously warriors stuggled with the fancy stuff as they wouldn't load enough points into the magic stat

pretty sure no one had a direct heal skill in diablo 2..

Holy Bolt is a direct heal as well as a vs-undead dd:
Details: A glowing, magical projectile is fired out at a medium rate of speed. This projectile will damage enemy undead monsters, and heal friends.

* Holy Bolt damage can not be resisted, but only affects the Undead.
* Holy Bolt was a novelty in early versions of the game, but since synergies were added in v1.09 it's become potentially quite powerful, both as a killing weapon and a healing skill.
